Cooking Adventures Part 2

This Saturday’s meal was a true success! On the menu was Brei’s yummy yummy Cranberry-Feta-cream cheese-pinwheels, a super fancy french stew, and for desert a Pumpkin Bread Pudding with fresh honey whipped cream. I got to use up the left over pumpkin from a homemade pumpkin pie I made a while back. And when I say home made I mean I started with a PUMPKIN not a can, I was so proud hehe. Over all the meal was a success, we had some set backs while cooking but nothing we couldn’t handle. One thing I did notice that made a dramatic difference was cooking with food from the farmers market was SO much more yummy. The freshness was astounding.

Your mom ended the night with MAJOR food coma passed out on our new friend’s couch. What a wonderful way to start a great weekend.
