I hate seeing radio silence on my blog, particularly when there’s SO much to talk about. Yet, sometimes there’s just not enough hours in the day. The Parents for Occupy Wall St sleep over are going head to head with CMJ for my attention this week. I have my CMJ showcase today, 9 bands from all over the country playing Arlene’s Grocery. Stop by if you’re in NY we’re serving Brunch, 12-6 (kiddos welcome). There’s so much more to write about on here, how well the sleep over is coming together, the wild and rapid success of Parents for Occupy Wall St is having, how I feel overwhelmed yet capable and the lessons that can teach my child through expressing that here. But, alas another day with less demands.
Amist of this crazy schedule and endless tasks I would like to acknowledge something real quick. How amazingly awesome you are my little love G. You’ve been  a pleasure at the conference with me (how you love the open space to stretch your legs in the exhibit hall) and at at the protest. You are a true little trooper. Sometimes it takes really crazy days for me to realize it but you are SO well behaved. Such a kind soul. You role with the punches, flow with any schedule we happen to rope you into and pretty much are happy if you’re just included in what we’re doing. As you’re learning to communicate you’re becoming so much more content and relaxed. You’re a pleasure to be around honestly. I’m so proud of you my little girl and I hope when you’re all grown up and reading this you’ll already know how thankful I am that you’re mine.
